How We Did Last Matchday

In our Matchday 4 preview, we picked 4 of the 8 fixtures correctly: Marumo Gallants vs TS Galaxy, Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune United, Siwelele vs Chippa United, and Mamelodi Sundowns vs AmaZulu all went as we leaned. We missed on Kruger United vs Durban City, Golden Arrows vs Stellenbosch, Polokwane City vs Milford, and Richards Bay vs Kaizer Chiefs, a reminder that a mid-table round like this one is exactly where South African football’s unpredictability tends to show up.

Table After Matchday 4

Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns both head the pack after big wins, with Kaizer Chiefs dropping points for the first time this season. AmaZulu’s heavy defeat is a dent after their strong start, while Durban City’s first win lifts them off the foot of the table. For the full, up-to-date points table with exact goal difference, see the official Betway Premiership standings.
